In Mobile over 1000 children are involved in court hearings annually due to abuse or neglect. Many of these children move from one temporary place to another with no home to call their own. Dedicated CASA Mobile, Inc. volunteers help these children find safe, loving, permanent homes, usually with a parent or guardian. CASAs provide unbiased insight into a child’s family life, school life, emotional development and psychological stability, assisting the court in its efforts to make the best decision for each child. Without

CASA Mobile, Inc., these high-risk children might navigate the juvenile and family court system on their own. Since 1997, CASA Mobile, Inc. volunteers have helped over 869 children in our community. Last year CASA Mobile served 124 children, closing cases for 69 children. All 69 of those children will remain in their own families and out of foster care, saving taxpayers almost $2,500,000. ere is no way to measure the enormous emotional benefit each child receives from a loving, safe and stable home. CASA Mobile, Inc. relies exclusively on grants and donations to serve high-risk children. Your support is vital to allow this program to continue advocating for Mobile County’s most vulnerable children.
